Our team

We have a well matched team with two top managers, one daily on site as production manager, running the project, and one to manage the business, schedule and supply each job as needed. This combination helps keep our projects on track and helps us keep a high level of quality control through out the job.

Education and background

Over the past thirty years, our practical experience in the construction industry have been extensive and varied. Huffman Design/Build staff has a high level of education and experience. Our training allows us to contribute valuable design input and ideas throughout the project. In addition to our graduate degrees, we have done post graduate work in construction management, design and business eduction at UCLA.

Huffman Design/Build has provided construction services throughout the Southern California area. We designed and built custom homes from Santa Barbara to Palms Springs. We have worked on all types of light construction projects from custom homes,condos and extensive remodeling work, to all types of commercial and light industrial buildings.

Experience, quality : we do good work

We are both journeyman level craftsman in the major trades: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall and painting. In addition, we have extensive hands on experience in many other trades including cabinetmaking, custom millwork tile setting, air conditioning, insulation, stucco, cement and roofing. This practical experience allows us to precisely control our subcontractors. We take great pride in the quality of our detail work and finishes.
